On the 9th of March Borys Dratva, a former Chernivtsi resident and now a citizen of Israel, director of numerous documentary films about Chernivtsi and the life of Bukovinian Jews, visited the Museum of the History and Culture of Bukovinian Jews. Our guest said that recently he has not been to Chernivtsi often, but that he follows up on our city events.

As Mr. Dratva had heard about our museum, it was a pleasure for him to visit it himself. As everyone who has special feelings for Chernivtsi and the Jewish heritage of Bukovina, Mr. Dratva came with gifts. In particular he generously gave DVDs of his films for our museum's collection.

We express our sincere gratitude for this and we wish him a good time in his native city!
